MEET THE PET NANNY

Hi, I'm Anna, an experienced and professional pet carer. As a pet owner myself, I understand how important it is to find someone you can trust with your furry friends. Being around animals has always been second nature to me, which inspired me to turn my passion into a profession. 

I have two wonderful family dogs back home in the UK - a Cockapoo and Labradoodle. I have cared for pets through my volunteer work with the Cinnamon Trust for over 6 years and provided pet sitting and walking for my business in the UK since April 2024. I have now relocated to Melbourne and I'm based in Hampton.

I'm pet first aid trained, DBS (police) checked, and fully insured, so you know you can have complete peace of mind, knowing your pets are in capable hands.

Whether it's regular walks, holiday care, or even chaperoning your dog at your wedding, I can tailor my services to meet your unique needs.​​

SERVICE CATCHMENT & WORKING HOURS

Please note I cover the first 4km from Willis St Hampton within my prices. Any extra kilometres outside of my catchment are charged at 90c per km up to a maximum of 7km. I do not provide services outside of this 7km radius from Willis St.

My regular working days for walks and drop-in visits are Monday to Friday (6:30am–6:30pm).

Saturdays (8:00am–5:00pm), depending on personal commitments.

Sundays are my non-working day for walks and drop-ins. However, if needed, I can provide services outside of these hours or on Sundays at a 20% additional charge, but please enquire with me first.

There is a 15% surcharge for services on public holidays.

Overnight pet sitting services are offered 24/7.

Group Dog Walks 🐾

I am looking to begin offering Group Dog Walks – the perfect way for your pup to exercise, socialise, and play in a safe, secure environment.


📍 Held in a fully enclosed field 
📅 Currently looking to run on certain weekdays based on demand
👥 Small groups – maximum 5 friendly dogs
🔓 Off-lead fun (with your consent)
🦴 Ideal for dogs with poor recall – the secure field ensures safety
💬 Great for well-socialised dogs who enjoy the company of others

💷 1 hour $28 per dog / $18 per additional dog from the same household

 

Each session is packed with play, sniffing, and enrichment – all under my full supervision and care.

MY SERVICES

OVERNIGHT STAYS 

For dogs who feel most comfortable in their own surroundings, I offer overnight stays in your home—providing them with familiar routines while you're away.

This service includes:
🐾 Evening, overnight, and morning care
🐾 Feeding, one walk, and toilet breaks
🐾 Playtime, cuddles, and companionship
🐾 Medication administration if required
🐾 Regular updates and photos

Per night (12 hours) | $80

24hr stay | From $110

Additional pet charge | +$20

DOGGY DAY CARE

Need someone to keep your dog company while you're out for the day? Doggy Day Care in your home provides one-on-one care in your dog’s environment—perfect for pets who get anxious when left alone.

This service includes:
🐾 Walks, playtime, and enrichment
🐾 Feeding, water, and toilet breaks
🐾 Medication administration (if needed)
🐾 Regular updates and photos 

Hourly Rate | $30

Dependent on dogs requirements.

Wedding Chaperone

Want your dog to be part of your big day? I offer a professional Wedding Dog Chaperone Service that ensures your furry friend is included in your celebration—without adding stress to your schedule.

Each booking is fully customisable to suit your wedding plans and your dog’s needs. Whether you’d like them to walk down the aisle, be part of your photos, or simply be nearby during the day, I’ll make sure they’re cared for, calm, and camera-ready.

Prices start from $200. Please get in touch to create your personalised package.

SOLO DOG WALKING

Whether your dog needs a quick stroll or a long walk to burn off energy, I offer tailored walking services to meet their needs. From on-lead walks around the local area to off-lead walks around local parks or green spaces (depending on your chosen service), your dog will have plenty of time to enjoy themselves outdoors.

In-Home Pet Visits

Whether you're at work, away for the day, or just need extra support, my in-home dog visits are a great way to ensure your dog is cared for. Each visit is tailored to your dog’s needs and can include:

🐾 Updates/ photos sent to you for peace of mind.

CAT SITTING

Cats are happiest in their own familiar environment, and my cat sitting service ensures they stay safe, relaxed, and well cared for while you’re away. I usually offer one or two daily visits, depending on your cat’s needs. Each visit can include:

🐾 Feeding and fresh water

🐾 Litter tray cleaning, playtime, or quiet company- whatever your cat prefers

🐾 Administering medication (if needed)

🐾 Updates/ photos sent to you for peace of mind.

Per visit (15-20 mins) | $18

2 visits per day (15-20 mins each) | $32

INSURANCE & FIRST AID

I have full pet business insurance through Pet Business International Insurance. I can provide evidence of insurance upon the Meet & Greet service.

My insurance covers the following services:

  • Pet Care Services

  • Dog Walking (For walking up to six dogs)

  • Pet Minding

  • Pet Sitting

Please note there is an excess charge of $150 payable by the pet owner for all claims made relating to your pet.

 

This insurance policy does not cover pre-existing medical conditions.

INSURANCE & FIRST AID

I have achieved a Pet First Aid Level 2 (VTQ) certification validated by ProTrainings UK.

This first aid training covered the following areas:

  • CPR

  • Pet accidents 

  • Medical Conditions 

  • Illnesses

I can provide a copy of this certificate on request.

I have a basic Disclosure and Barring Service (DBS) check as of 19/05/2025 (this is a police check in the UK). I also have a Australian Police check as of 09/01/2025. I can provide a copy of these checks on request.

MY POLICIES

Meet & Greet Policy 

At The Pet Nanny Melbourne, I offer a free 15 minute Meet & Greet before any new booking. This visit is mandatory for all new clients and allows me to:

  • Meet you and your pet(s) in their home environment or a safe space.

  • Discuss routines, needs, and any health or behavioural notes.

  • Answer your questions and ensure a good fit.

  • Collect emergency contact details and vet information.

This is a no-obligation meeting, designed to give both you and your pet peace of mind before care begins.

POLICIES
Key Handling & Security Policy

Your home and pet’s safety is a top priority. I follow the below measures to ensure responsible key handling and property security:

  • Keys are labelled only with your pet’s name—no identifying personal or address details are ever written on key tags.

  • All keys are stored securely when not in use and returned upon request or after service ends.

  • Doors and windows will be double-checked upon leaving your home.

  • Alarm codes, if provided, are kept strictly confidential and stored separately from keys.

  • If using a key safe, please ensure it is in good working order and accessible at agreed times.

Emergency Procedures Policy

In the unlikely event of an emergency involving your pet or home while under my care:

  • I will attempt to contact you immediately using your provided contact details.

  • If urgent veterinary attention is required, I will take your pet to your registered vet (or the nearest available vet if your practice is closed).

  • All decisions regarding emergency care will prioritise your pet’s well-being and comfort.

  • If there is a household emergency (e.g., water leak, alarm triggered), I will contact you and/or your emergency contact and act as instructed.

Please ensure all contact and veterinary information is up to date before your booking begins.

Cancellations & Refunds Policy

Dog Walking & Home Visits:

  • Cancellations with 48+ hours' notice – no charge.

  • Cancellations with 24–48 hours’ notice – 50% of the service fee applies.

  • Cancellations with less than 24 hours’ notice – full service fee applies.

Overnight Stays & Wedding Chaperone Services:

  • Cancellations with 7+ days’ notice – full refund.

  • Cancellations within 3–7 days – 50% of the total fee refunded.

  • Cancellations with less than 72 hours’ notice – non-refundable unless due to exceptional circumstances.

If I need to cancel due to illness or emergency, I will do my best to provide an alternative or refund the full amount for any missed service.

Payments Policy
  • Payment is due in full before the start of ALL services.

  • A 20% deposit will be taken for pet sitting services at the time of booking, the remaining 80% will be due in the upcoming month's invoice.

  • Invoices for regular services will be issued on the final Friday of each month for the upcoming month’s services.

  • Payment is due within 24-48hrs of the invoice date.

  • Payments can be made via bank transfer.

  • Late payments may result in a temporary suspension of services or incur a late fee.

  • One-off or ad hoc bookings may require advance payment at the time of booking.

Please ensure all payment details are kept up to date to avoid service disruption.
